Our 91st annual feast is officially underway, and what a first night it was.
We were honored to welcome Newton Mayor Marc Laredo, who joined us to help kick off a full week of celebration. We are deeply grateful for his continued support of our community, and for restoring the historic lines on Adams Street. This tradition holds special meaning for so many of us, and seeing it preserved is a source of great pride.
Opening night brought a wonderful turnout. We were thrilled to see so many familiar faces alongside plenty of newcomers joining the festivities for the first time. Watch City Cadillacs and Dan Fontaine & Memphis Sun Mafia provided the evening’s live entertainment, filling the night with music and keeping the crowd energized. The atmosphere was everything we hoped it would be, and it set a fitting tone for the days ahead.
There is much more still to come. Tonight promises another evening of great entertainment. Back to the 80s opens the night at 6 PM, followed by The Breeze taking the stage at approximately 8 PM. Our beer stand opens at 5 PM, so come early and make an evening of it.
