For nearly 90 years the society has organized and welcomed over 10,000 guests annually to the Italian-American festival in Newton.

Our Story
Who We Are
You probably know us as the organization that has run the annual Italian-American Festival at Pellegrini Park in Newton for over 85 years. The St Mary of Carmen Society is actually much more than that, we are a non-profit organization committed to helping families and organizations in the community.
In just the past four years, the society has been able to donate over $100,000 to organizations, families and individuals in need in Nonantum and surrounding communities.
